Conserve and Protect Water Quality for Drinking, Fishing, Recreation – Paddling, Kayaking, Business and Wellness

RiverLink calls its conservation efforts “The Forever Option.”  We focus exclusivly on protecting riparian buffers and steep slopes since these two land areas offer the best protection for water quality.  We also use the  “Forever Option” to secure overnight camping area sites along the  the French Broad River so that we can offer a paddle trail along the river that is protected forever with conservation and recreation easements that are free, open to the public and available without reservations.  If you would like to know how you can protect your steep slope and/or riparian buffer area and earn a tax credit while helping  keep our watershed pristine for drinking water, fishing, swimming and access give us a call or send us an email at information@ riverlink.org.
