RiverLink accepted a donation of 3.33 acres of land in the Kenilworth neighborhood in 2012. The land will preserved as part of RiverLink’s long range plans to protect and preserve properties in the Ross Creek sub-watershed of the Swannanoa River, which in turn is a sub-watershed of the French Broad River. This land may also help jump start RiverLink’s efforts to develop a greenway and fitness trail from the neighborhood to the river.
