Over the past five years, RiverMusic and RiverFest have seen saw RiverLink bring a lot of smiling faces to the banks of the French Broad River. Part of our mission is to create stewardship of the river, and we do this by bringing people down to the river for good music, food, arts and crafts, beer, rafting, and more.
RiverMusic events regularly drew 1,000 to 1,500 people, and RiverFest drew around 1,000. We aim to attract at least 1,500 people to each 2017 RiverMusic, on the strength of the music schedule, word of mouth, a dedicated Facebook campaign, adverts on local radio and in local printed media, widely distributed event posters, and the promotional efforts of our partners. Additionally, RiverLink sends out a monthly newsletter which reaches over 9,000 people.
