Over the past five years, RiverMusic and RiverFest saw RiverLink bring a lot of smiling faces to the banks of the French Broad River. Part of our mission is to create stewardship of the river, and we do this by bringing people down to the river for good music, food, arts and crafts, beer, rafting, and more. The fun rolls on in 2017 with a summer concert series that will also serve as a fundraiser to help us revitalize the French Broad River and its tributaries as a place for everyone to live, work and play.
RiverMusic events can draw 1,000 to 1,500 people, and RiverFest around 1,000. We aim to attract at least 1,500 people to each 2017 RiverMusic, on the strength of the music schedule, word of mouth, a dedicated Facebook campaign, adverts on local radio and in local printed media, widely distributed event posters, and the promotional efforts of our partners. Additionally, RiverLink sends out a monthly newsletter which reaches over 9,000 people.
Support for the concert series is a great way to showcase your commitment to the environment and your community.
