Celebrating the Beautiful French Broad
Over the years RiverFest has brought thousands of people down to the banks of the French Broad to enjoy live music, local beer, food, and sunsets over one of the oldest rivers in the world. Each year we gather some of the greatest local bands to come and pay tribute to this wonderful waterway! Leading up to the music we host the Anything that Floats Parade. All sorts of creative floats will start to be visible from New Belgium around noon.
RiverFest serves as a fundraiser for RiverLink, and a chance for us to celebrate our beautiful river and incredible community. The proceeds from the event goes to support our on the ground work throughout the watershed.
Where can I park?
There will be limited parking at New Belgium and on the street in front of the brewery. Once those spaces are full there are plenty of new parking lots around the River Arts District. We also strongly encourage carpooling, biking, and ride shares.
Can I bring my kids and/or dogs?
Absolutely, this is a family friendly event for the whole crew including your furry friends!
Can I bring food or beverages?
No outside food or drinks will be allowed at this event. There will be plenty of food trucks and snack carts, as well as beer and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
Do I need to buy a wristband to get beer?
Nope, just make sure to bring your ID!
*These rules are subject to change each year, but will likely stay the same.
