Join the Town of Woodfin, Equinox Environmental, Connect Buncombe and Riverlink for an online public forum to learn more about the Riverside Park and Woodfin Whitewater Wave projects. The public forum will also be an opportunity for community members to share input on the amenities that will be included in the Riverside Park expansion.

The Woodfin Whitewater Wave and Riverside Park expansion are two much-anticipated components of the Woodfin Greenway and Blueway Project. The project is an ambitious re-visioning of the French Broad River as a recreational destination that will connect people to each other, to public space, and to the river.

The project includes five miles of new greenway along the River and Beaverdam Creek, the creation of Silver-Line Park and redesign of the existing Riverside Park, and a world-class whitewater wave feature that will be suitable for beginner and advanced paddlers of all ages.
