Attendees will learn how to protect and improve the natural environment of streams by stabilizing a streambank. NC State University and other local experts will provide practical, cost-effective solutions using natural materials and native plants to create healthy, stable streambanks and repair small scale repairs.
This is a free workshop but we ask you to please register so that we know how many are coming. This is a stream-side, hands-on 3 hour workshop.
NOTE: There will not be any classroom instruction or certification option provided. You are welcome to pack your own snacks and drinks.
You will receive hands-on instruction covering streambank repair using natural materials and native live stakes and plants.
