Join us for the Voices of the River Gallery Event, a celebration of youth creativity and connection to our local waterways. Students from across the French Broad River watershed have shared artwork and poetry inspired by this year’s theme, Rhythms of the River | How does water shape your community? From joyful reflections to thoughtful and heartfelt perspectives, these submissions offer a powerful glimpse into how young people experience and connect with rivers in our region.
All student submissions will be displayed, and contest winners—selected in advance—will be invited to attend and pick up their prizes. Light refreshments will be available as families, friends, and community members explore the gallery and celebrate youth voices from across the watershed.
The event takes place at RiverLink’s office in the River Arts District, surrounded by working artist studios and galleries that will also be open to the public that day. Make an afternoon of it—celebrate young artists, explore professional artwork, and enjoy one of Asheville’s most vibrant creative communities.
