Come join us as we work to transition this old junkyard by the river into a new public park. Karen Cragnolin Park, named for RiverLink’s founding Executive Director, will connect the greenways of Carrier and French Broad River Parks and will provide more access down to the river.

We host these workdays twice a month on the 2nd Saturday and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Volunteer tasks will vary for each workday, but you can expect a mix of invasive plant removal, new plantings, and trash removal. No experience is necessary for these workdays and RiverLink will provide all of the tools and safety equipment.

Volunteers should come prepared with sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, a water bottle, sunscreen, and bugspray. There’s no need to signup for these workdays, feel free to come help out for as long as you’re able.
